Solace is built for families coordinating care for an aging loved one. Data shared within Solace is visible only to members of your private care circle — it is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. Solace is a coordination tool, not an emergency or medical monitoring service.

Solace uses Firebase (Google) to securely sync data between care circle members. The following data is stored in your private Firestore care circle database:
Medication information entered in Solace is health-related data. It is stored in a private Firestore database with access restricted, by Firebase Security Rules, to authenticated members of that specific care circle only. KGKV LLC does not access, share, or analyze this data.
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Firebase Security Rules restrict your care circle's database and photo storage so that only authenticated members of that circle can read or write its data. KGKV LLC employees do not access circle records for any purpose other than responding to a direct support request from a circle member.
Solace does not access your device's photo library, camera, contacts, or location in the background. When you choose to attach a photo to a memory journal entry, you select it yourself via your device's camera or photo picker; it is then uploaded to a private, circle-scoped Firebase Storage location visible only to your circle.
You can delete your own account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which immediately removes your authentication account, personal user record, and your membership in your care circle. If you are a circle's sole admin, the app has you choose a successor first (if other members remain) or deletes the circle entirely (if you were its only member). Shared circle data (medications, journal entries, events) belonging to a circle that continues remains available to its other members. To request deletion of an entire circle's data, contact [email protected] — we will permanently delete it within 30 days.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Contact [email protected] for any of these requests. We will respond within 30 days.
Solace is intended for use by adult family members and caregivers coordinating care for a senior loved one — the senior does not need to use the app themselves. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 13 years of age.
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes affecting how we handle health-related data, we will notify circle admins via in-app notice before the change takes effect.
